It Keeps Getting Easier!

Most customers find it easiest to buy precrimped wire that is already cut to accurate lengths with terminations attached and bypass the whole wire measurement and calibration process. Naturally, precise measuring and mounting is essential. This page is to help familiarize you with Dynalloy Inc.'s crimping services and crimps.

Although custom crimps can also be made, Dynalloy Inc. currently offers a variety of crimps to choose from for your convenience.

Crimps may be ordered with or without lead wires and are useful for a range of products. Selection best depends on how the wire is being used and how the final assembly will take place. Precrimped wire may be ordered both in small quantities for design work and for large production runs. Standard crimps are likely to be cost effective and time efficient for you. To insure best results and high reliability, a clear definition and understanding of what you want is helpful (see "Attaching" for more details).

PLEASE NOTE: The crimps are only sold attached to Flexinol® actuator wire and are not sold separately. This is because in most cases, the crimps are not completed until the crimping systems cut and form the crimps onto the Flexinol® actuator wire.
